Since my parents purchased this cottage over 20 years ago it has gone through many many changes. Basically a gut job. The kitchen has had many different looks but this was the current one and it was definitely ready for a refresh!

A refresh is exactly what it got. I used only paint and sticky back splash tile but wow what a difference it made!

For cabinets I always use Benjamin Moore’s Advanced Paint. It is by far the best paint for a rock hard furniture finish and there is no need for a top coat. The color is Simply White for the cabinets.
To add a little something to break up the white I I used these beautiful peel and stick backsplash tiles from Smart Tiles. They were very easy to use and the impact is beautiful.
